During the last zPricing working group meeting strong interest was expressed in a gerneral und understandable introduction to the topic "Software Licensing Models in the Mainframe Environment and Optimization Strategies". We are very pleased that we can noe offer a seminar on this subject and have decided to coordinate it with the next zPricing working group meeting. Thus, there is the opportunity to attend both the seminar as well as the working group meeting on the following day.

Our main speaker will be Friedhelm Stöhler who is a renowned specialist in this area and was honored with the "Best Speaker Award" for his presentation "Demystifiying zIIP" on the ceCMG Annual Conference 2010 in Darmstadt. The seminar will be held on 2 November and the workshop of the zPricing working group on 3 November at Maritim Hotel in Nuremburg. For didactic reasons, the seminar is limited to 12 participants. The seminar places are allocated according to the order of registration. We are very pleased that the company Data Base Solutions sponsors the dinner following the seminar on 2 November.
