ceCMG: The new address for Service Level Manager

Service Level Managers are face new challenges. To arrive at appropriate solutions, there are different ways. One of the most efficient one is trustworthy experiences among peers. Many of our members know the possibilities and pitfalls of everyday practice.

The Objectives

The paramount goal of a working group on Service Level Management is the exchange of formulations in Service Level Agreements and other concepts. We assist in service level management. The aim is to promote collaboration between service level managers. The club gives us a platform for service-level managers:

• Questions about the difficult negotiations of SLAs
• The design of SLM processes
• The Operational Level Agreements
• The Underpinning Contracts
• The optimization of metrics
• The specification of SLA reports
• The development of service catalogs

The Idea

The idea of ​​using the cecmg as a platform for Service Level Manager was established in November 2009. Then the idea was rejected, not a rival event to the SLM forum to be. Only with the collapse of SLM Forum lived up this idea again. The association takes the role of the Service Level Manager. In many places available on the Internet for information or discussion forums on service level management. The real core of information (for example, SLA formulations) remains hidden. And rightly so. This knowledge is a valuable commodity, the only time to replace those who deal with it every day.

The Philosophy

The club itself includes a lot of knowledge about SLAs and reports. The knowledge is distributed to our members. Each of our members are committed to help other members.

How does it start?

From March the 21th till 23th 2012, the annual cecmg meeting in Hanover. Here, the association we Service-level managers on a day assigned to a stream, and on a second day, we have the opportunity to get workshops.
